I was born in Granby, very close to the Granby Zoo. When I was little, my parents would often take me there for a morning stroll.

My mother would bring an orange for the elephants, who eventually learned to recognize the stroller in the distance and would come to meet us.

Because of this, I’ve been in contact with the animal world since my earliest childhood.

By observing them so often, I became sensitive to their language, their gait, their behavior, to that unique personality each animal carries.

Today, through charcoal, I try to capture that little character that makes every animal so fascinating.
